Integrating Barcode in NAVISION

Hi guys!

This is my first post and I am also new to Nav.

We would like to implement a barcode reader into our production line in order to speed up the process. What I am thinking is to use the reader as a simple keyboard entry which reads the Order No. and then update a field in the database based on some conditions.

Would this be difficult to implement code-wise?

This is not problem. You need simple field on the page, where the readed data are entered and if the scanner send Enter at the end, OnValidate of the field you can do what you want... :-)
