Intercompany Posting does not take care of Item Variant

I found the Item Variant is not part IC.
Can someone enlighten?

yes. it is not part of IC. you need modification for this purpose.

I tried to add in field 5402 - Variant Code into IC Purchase Line.
It does not allow me to add in.
Is there a better way?

you can not add any field with no. 5402 into NAV standard table like IC Purchase Line. it is registered number for MS.


I think you should get help from a NAV Developer.
