Synchronization error message

We have recently started working with a new customer who is running Navision 3.10 with an SQL DB. They requested an update for one of their test companies.

We did a backup of their production company, renamed it and did a restore to set up the test company. It appeared to go smoothly and we were able to open it up afterwards - no problems. However, when we went in to look at it this morning, the test DB was not there and it gave an error indicating we did not have the permissions to synchronize. We have administrative permissions.

Does something have to be set up on the SQL side? Is anyone familiar with this situation?

Thanks for any help you might be able to offer!

Was not there... you look through Enterpr. Manager or only you cannot see it in DB list in Navision?

It was Navision Backup or SQL backup?

We connected to their DB through a VPN and used the Navision backup and restore functions. We were able to connect to the DB again, but the new test company did not appear in the company list in Navision.

It is possible, that you did not restored the company, only the objects and commond data... :-) or you ade backup only for objects and common data...

Using a developer licence instead the customer licence can help.
