Impossibile to restore objects from an fbk in NAV 2013

Hi all, I have this problem with NAV 2013: I made an fbk backup of the Cronus database, then I created a new database. When I select the fbk in the restore, I cannot select Application Objects (is disabled), but my fbk contains the objects! In this way I had a database without objects inside (only tables, as far as I can see).
Did you experienced the same problem?
Thanks,
Marco

An fbk file ALWAYS contains a backup of the table objects. If you import to a database with no tables, then it will import these objects.

Basically when you created the FBK you forgot to tick the backup objectbox, OR you had some thing else already in the database so object import was not possible.

By the way, import the FBK as an FOB file and you will see what objects actually are there.

Hi, my backup was a complete backup, but when I selected Restore in the new database, the Application Object flag was not edtable and was disabled. I cannot understand where could be the problem. In any case I solved it by importing the fob of all the objects, but as far as I can see it's a bug, also because the restore just put the tables but not the other objects.

    Thanks,
    Marco

I gave you two examples of what could be wrong. Did you test them?

Hi David, the backup was a complete backup (so objects were included) and the database was a new and empty database, just created with the development environment. The only doubt I have in my process is if I tried to restore the backup after the creation of the company or before. But the database had not any object inside (only the system tables).

    Thanks

But if you already created company, it have something inside, and is not clean database anymore, thus no object restore from backup...
