ODBC for Navision Attain Version 3.10.A

I have seen that many of you on here have ODBC connecting Access to the tables in Navision.

Is this possible with version 3.10.A :?:

If so, can anyone tell me where I can get hold of the software.

it's on the product cd - we had to get our license changed in order to use it. License Granule ID #1,700

I can email it to you if you cannot find you're product cd.

if you have it it will be under "tools"

Just curious why you are not on 3.1B at least. Do you know what hotfixes you have installed...

Cheers for the reply. I shall try and find it.

I'm afraid I don't know what hotfixes they have installed. I'm an accountant and tend to leave things like hotfixes to the guys in IT. I will raise the question though!

I have been brought in from head office to help one of the units - the software was installed between 12 and 18 months ago. The head office of the unit is in Germany and I believe that is where the installation and server are as they are using the same.

All I have to do is convince them to let us have ODBC - it will make anlysis and reporting much better.

just to clarify the product cd has C\ODBC on it. Which allows us to use Crystal Reports and such. We use the Navision Server not SQL which I believe regular ODBC can be used to access the data.
