How to remove CR and LF from a BLOB field in NAV

Hi all,
Since my text field is exceeding 250m characters , I am storing a text field in a BLOB field. But when I display this BLOB field in NAV, I can see some unknown small box coming at the end of each line. Is there any way to reomve the LF and CR from a BLOB field in NAV. I tried following the forums in mibuso but I found that it is for removing the CR and LF from a text field but is there any way by which I can remove the CR and LF from a blob field in NAV. If anyone knows the method for removing the CR and LF from a BLOB field, Kindly provide me the solution or link to refer.
