Vendor Name on GL register

Dear Experts,
Our client gets a warning message when trying to post payment journal. It states that "Overflow under type conversion of text to text, value:xxx"(xxx represents vendor name which has more than 30 characters)
On the screenshot she reported to us, there are two message boxes. One shows the printing process, Document is GL registier. The other one is the above warning message.
I searched the GL registier but was not able to find any field copies vendor name.
May i know whether vendor name is shown on GL register? If not, where could I find which field is copying vendor name and extend the field?
Since this happens in client computer only, I was not able to replicate the issue. It is difficult to use debugger to find out the field.

Why?
Yes, I tested in NAV Classic.
I could not replicate the same issue on our testing environment, although it is the most recent backup taken from the production company.

Thank you very much for all your help.
We were able to identify the cause of the error, which is due to the length of a customized field on GL entry window.
I assume the issue could be fixed by extending the length of the text field. But I am still confused that why I could not replicate the same error on our testing environment, which has exactly the same setup...
