Real world RTC and eShip experience.

Just a question about running warehouse shipping on RTC.

Can anyone share any real world experiences of using eShip. Mainly things like how Pack Line scanning works, any bar code scanner issues, and especially label printing.

Basically I have a client on 5.00 with eShip and LS Retail and they would like to hear form actual customers on RTC before deciding on a 2013 upgrade.

I don't have LS Retail experience but have a lot of EShip experience in the RTC.

And the answer is, it's good. Instead of command line doing the label printing, you now have an external software that you have to install. My toughest problem was getting this piece of software to work properly.

Other than that, it works exactly like the way it use to.

Thanks Alex. The printing was always a hassle, especially with Terminal Server. Hopefully doing it "the proper way" should be more reliable.

LS Retail doesn't have a product for 2013 currently. The release date for that is probably 1 year from now.
