I'm fairly sure the zup file is updated on the classic client closing. So 'no' really.

But you could store zup files on a central server by setting the ID= switch in a windows shortcut to the nav client (fin.exe or finsql.exe). Then have a NAS to regularly check this folder and store/copy/whatever with files.
