GL Transactions from one company to another

We are looking for an add-on, or to modify the following in Navision 3.70 and 4.0: One function that will enable the user to transfer all GL transactions for one Dimension from one company to another, including posting to the ledger.

Have you looked at consolidation?

Consolidation exports a dimension - but we need to export a dimension value.

when you export gl entries to file it has the dimension values for every line. Am I missing something?

We need to trnasfer only transactions for one dimension value. Let's say we have a dimension called Department. There are three departments: A, B, & C. We want to transfer all transactions for dimension A.
