Hi everyone,

I am starting to explore NAV 2013 and it's new features...
I am confused about the new availability views for an item...
I wonder: what is the difference between availability by event and availability by timeline???
I know the second is a graphical representation while the first is not...but I can't see any other difference...

Can anyone help me figure it out???

    Hi,

Your assumption is correct. The only difference between "availability by event" and "availability by timeline" is the graphical representation. The business logic behind these two is the same.

A little bit of context: The visualization is named Timeline Visualization which is referred to as timeline.
