Saving File in Local Machine and over network path

Hi,

I am exporting report details to a text file using File Variable. But the issue is, when I run the report on the server, the text file is created in the specified drive. But when we run the same report from User sytem, report is executed but file is not created niether at client or server. In this regard, how do I save the file,
1. to local system from where user is running the system
2. to save a file over other computer through network path (like: IpAddress\\folder\aa\xx)

Please suggest.
Fyi: I am using Nav 2009 R2. But currently I am running the report through classic client.

you can use DotNet variables to operate with files on your network

System.IO.File

in mscorlib.dll should work for you.
