CLI Argument "ID" is not populating the username

Hi all,
We recently switched from having everyone log into out term server to using published apps through the term server.
We have the command arguments set as:
ID=Z:\ZUPs\%username%
This way no matter which term server they log into they always get the same zup file. However, when using the published app it just created a zup file with the actual "%username%" instead of the username.
This same argument was working fine when people logged into the term server directly. Is there something else we need to do with the Windows Terminal published apps?
Thanks!
