On-time Shipments

Hi Everyone,

I know NAV doesn't have anything like this standard so I'm asking the the forum for some guidance on how I can approach this situation.

We want to find out how "good" our shipping time is compared to what we quote the customer. We have line shipment dates on our orders that may be different line by line. What we would like is to find a percentage of how many of our line shipments dates are either on time or late. One way I was thinking was comparing the line shipment date with the sales shipment posting date... just not sure if that would work...

Just asking for some ideas on how to start...

Thanks

    Hi,

the solution you mentioned was exactly the one I thought of.
If you use the Sales Header Shipment Date as the 'expected' Shipment Date, and then the line Shipment Date as the 'actual' Shipment Date, then you could make a report comparing the Sales Shipment Header (TAB110) Shipment Date with the Sales Shipment Line (TAB111) Shipment Date.

I'll try to come up with something better but this looks like it can do the trick.
