Duplicates records coming in XML Import

Hi ,

I am Importing the XML file to some of segments, for the new table. i got this unwanted duplication of records. For Ex

In item ledger table, i have imported the 3 records for a same item with different bar codes.
Actually it should be inserted the records in three lines with different barcodes but the item no should be same, This is what my exact requirement.

But here what happens 1 st record inserted then when its for second record the above inserted again. its for always when ever i inserting the another one different xml file also. last record in a table coping to every line.

i have return the code in oninsert trigger of ILE table to increment the entry no.


Pls anybody Help me.

You are telling us that you are importing Item Ledger entries directly through XML? What about posting the entries through journal? NEVER (NEVER doesn't mean never for people who knows when) create entries directly without posting.
