Retrieve Picture from SQL DB in .Net

Dear All.
We are trying to retrieve the item picture stored in SQL database in .net, but unable to see it on the form.
We can see the same in NAV.
When we import the same picture in SQL directly using a query, the same could be seen in .Net view, but not in NAV.
Can you suggest what may be the issue???
