Hi there,
I have a problem which I am sure other people have had.
Item A is made up of 2 components X and Y.
To make Item A, it needs 1 of component X and 1 of component Y.
Component X is in 2 bins (one set as default) and there is 50pcs in Bin 1 and 100 pcs in Bin 2.
Comoponent Y is in 1 bin with 100 pcs.
I need to make up 75pcs of Item A and as I have enough stock, I would belive that there should not be a problem BUT I get the following error message:
"Quantity (Base) must be greater than 50 in Bin Content Location Code='WAREHOUSE',Bin Code='1',Item No.='A',Variant Code='',Unit of Measure Code='PCS'"
I know that there isn't enough stock in that bin.....
Can anyone please let me know what the "official" workaround is (please don't tell me that a reclass journal has to be made first) and whether anyone has got round this?
Thanks
Michaellee
