New Solution Center

Hi,

Has anyone had any experience with using one solution center for implementation, then another solution center to continue on? Our solution center has just closed suddenly. They did alot of customization for us and I am a little concerned that a new solution center would have to start over again. We are using Attain 3.6.

If anyone has had experience with this, can you let me know if things went smoothly or not.
Thanks
Rosemarie

    Hi Rosemarie,

things maybe a little different here in the UK as Navision has been around a little longer, but similar situations to this happen all the time. Solution Centres will pick up "Orphan" site for various reasons and continue to look after these sites.

One thing to bear in mind is documentation .... The better quality you can supply to the new solution centre the easier it will be for them, otherwise you will have to bear with them whilst they dig through the code and figure out exactly what your system has been designed to do.

Don't be afraid though, this does happen, and if your unsure, pick one of the larger solution centres. It may cost you a little more for their services, but in theory this won't happen again in a hurry. :D

    Hi Rosemarie,

As Dean says, this happens from time to time for various reasons.

One piece of advice when considering a new NSC; ask them for references, especially ones from other customers they have taken up from elsewhere, and speak to the referees rather than joust go on impressive looking case studies.

    Good luck!
