    Hi desibatman,

you might installed Navision R2 from Setup.exe insted of Autorun.exe.

Try uninstalling Navision R2 and install using Autorun.exe (Run as administrator).

While running using setup.exe, setup does not install pre-requisites. It does it when you use autorun.exe.

Or the other way round is you will find a folder Prerequisite Components, where you will find Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 which contain both dotnetfx35.exe and MsChart.exe.

I would suggest by using way 1.
Let me know if any issues.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Saurav Dhyani

Thanks for this Saurav. Tried all your suggestions and installing the mschart.exe resolved the problem.

    Many thanks for your help,

To avoid confusion. It's no difference if you start your installation from autorun.exe or setup.exe, in the end it's the setup.exe that does the actual installation. Setup.exe will always check if you have the needed pre-requisites already installed on the machine, if not it will try to install it.

A good tip is in general if you get a problem with any pre-requisites is to try to install it manually from the "Prerequisite Components" directory to get additional error information or get other possibilities of installation.
