hello is it possible to do exe upgrade only from 2009 to 2013?
The client has many modification we have done and we have performance issues because some reports on RTC just take too long to run but on classic they run fine. I heard 2013 has resolved these issues.
We could load those v 7 reports and do an exe upgrade and I was wondering if there is any major technical reason not to do it.
Thanks.

From what I understand, executable upgrades are not supported by Microsoft anymore. I learned this the hard way upgrading the executables from NAV2009 to R2.

The hard part of the upgrade, the forms, does not exist anymore. This means an upgrade should not be that difficult anymore, unless you use kitting that is replaces by assembly.
Or am I missing something.
If you do a tech upgrade you will have to at least upgrade codeunit 1 since there are a lot of hard coded references there.
