Item List - RTC edit vs. view

From the item list, if I double click on an item, the Item Card opens in edit mode. Is there a way to alter so that when a user double clicks on an item it will open in view mode?

There is a way...

Create an action on page 31 "Item List" - set these properties :

RunPageMode = View
ShortCutKey = Return
RunObject = Page Item Card

Thanks - works as you describe.

I notice that if I right click on a line in the Item List that standard View and Edit are still visible, no longer is Edit in Bold. Is it possible to remove Edit? Is it possible to just mark View bold?

If you are trying to prevent users from modifying Item card, you need to setup it up through security and not make a form none editable.
