Hi All,
We are using NAV 2009 SP1 with Accounting period of July2011 to June2012.
but, business wants to change the accounting period to January to December. i had already let them know that can be changed only on initial setup.
Now, they have a plan of closing the FY12 upto June12 and Another year end closing from Jul 2012 till December 2012 and then change the accounting period from Jan2013 to Dec2013
will it makes any impact? have any one tried this way? will NAV work that way?
thanks for your help.
Regards
Santhana

This statement is wrong. You can change accounting period as long as it's not closed without any problems.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
