Setting up products NAV2013

Hello everyone,

New to the forum and Navision so appologies if this post in the wrong place.

I`m sure I will be asking some really basic questions as my company has just started to use Navision but hopefully some of you guys can help me out.

Tomorrow I need to set up new products in Nav2013, anyone know of a demo I can watch or some help notes for this ?

    What do you mean by settingup product?

    Installing SQL and NAV2013?
    Or Setup in NAV2013?

    Please involve partners and experienced people..

    I meant to set up a new product code ( stock item ).

    Where would I find this function ?

    Not sound harsh or anything but I really think you would be wise to involve a Dynamics Partner and get a bit of education in the product. In the long run you will get so much more out of it. That question is just so basic that I can only imagine how confused you are going to get when you need to set it up properly for posting and what not.

    But basically. Creating a new item is done under the... "Items" menu item in the default role center. (on a demo install). Press "New" and start filling out fields.
