Consolidating Prod. Orders

Dear All,

I am using the production worksheet to retrieve the demand from the sales order and subsequently create production orders. The case scenario for the company is that the production order reflects the actual demand in released sales orders.

The issue so far is the number of production order which are being created. I had item A which is being sold in 5 sales orders, than the system will ultimately create 5 production orders, and I require just 1 which satisfies the net demand. Is it possible to run such function without delving into changes to standard code?

Change the Planning tab on the Item Card.
If you have multiple locations, you MUST use the SKU instead.

Do an F1 Help on the "Reordering Policy" how it all works is described there.
