Inventory Valuation WIP - classic different then RTC

john_bellingerjohn_bellinger Member Posts: 34
In NAV 2009 SP1, CRONUS USA, Inc., demo installation, I set Inventory Setup to Automatic Cost Posting = True, Expected Cost Posting = True, Automatic Cost Posting = Always. I then ran the Adjust Cost Item Entries Job and then ran the Post Inventory Cost to G/L.

I then found production order 101004, which is finished (this was in a finished state after installing the demo database). I then entered a revaluation entry for the Output entry related to this production order.

When I run the Inventory Valuation Report in classic and rtc, I get different results. I then applied article 2689150 and 2711751 but still realize same results (where the classic and rtc reports differ).

    I have had the same problem a couple of years ago. I think that there is a hotfix for this issue so search msft support.

    I've searched and searched . . . I've found 2689150 and 2711751 and applied . . . which does not resolve. You don't happen to know the article(s) you applied?

    No. I started some dialog here with Microsoft;

    I thought Microsoft was close to sending out an article that addresses the issue . . . but I continue to wait.
