linking new sales order report to sales header form

Hello experts,

I tried to search this query in mibuso but couldn't find one (or may be I was typing wrong search keys).
Anyways I made a new sales report which I want to link with sales header's Print button i.e. as soon as i click on this menu in button it should open the request form of my report with the "Document No." already filled as the sales order number from where I clicked print.

I am sure this is very basic thing but somehow i forgot it :-(
so plz help

I have created a new MENUITEM in PRINT button in SALES ORDER FORM but how to bring the report in MENUITEM? Shall I fill ACTION as RUNOBJECT? and RUNOBJECT as MY NEW REPORT?

try writing below code on OnPush trigger of menuitem?

REPORT.RUNMODAL(<your report ID>,GUIALLOWED,FALSE,Rec);

Wow .. that worked perfectly ... but then the "No." field in USER REQUEST FORM is empty. how shall it be filled by default with the sales order number from which I am accessing this report?

Take a record variable of Sales Header and Pass it

SH.RESET;
SH.SETRANGE("Document Type","Document Type");
SH.SETRANGE("No.","No.");
REPORT.RUNMODAL(<Your report ID>,GUIALLOWED,FALSE,SH);

Well this somehow doesnt work. The "No." field is still empty in USER REQUEST form
Do I need to do something in REPORT's USER REQUEST FORM?

Oh sorry .. my mistake.. its working perfectly now... I forgot to put SH instead on REC in "REPORT.RUNMODAL""
