hello everybody
I am using NAV2009R2 with Service Management. Our prob. is that, we purchase item x with 1 yr. warranty and we consume it to item Y. and item Y is sale to customer. now the item Y is return back to us and we check it and find item x is damaged. so we send it to vendor and after receive the item x we placed in item y and deliver to customer. so how can we manage it in NAV2009R2 with service management.

Your service Item will need to have the faulted X in the component list. Then when you add the X to a service order you can tell the system that is is a replacement component.

I agree with you, we add the item x in component and service order made. but the replacement depend on the manufacturer (Our Vendor) end. when he replace this item then we replace to our customer. so how can i track that this item 'X' is replaced from vendor and we replace to Customer.
