Hi guys,
I'm wondering how it's possible to find out the Object ID from user interface?
For example, how to determinate the Object ID of report/table user is viewing?
Without custom coding/programming of NAV.
Must say, I'm a newbie exploring NAVISION 4.0. I've tried to look up the Internet for the answer, but no value..
Thanks for Your answers!

Base classic client does not provide this information.
Why do you require this? (in order to find the objects in shortcuts?)Ufuk Asci

I want to explore our NAV system more, 'to dive deeper in it'
.
I can see and list all objects by types (raport, codeunit, table, etc.) in object designer, but I don't know there particular object is used.
I see table for example, but how to know by which objects it's created?
I've been told what where should be a shortcut of keys used to display an ID, isn't what possible in this on another way?0 -
I recommend reading documentation about the subjects you are interested in. Going object by object may take a very long time to dive deeper in.
On the other side you can always pass to the the design mode of an object if you have required license. You can check Help for shortcuts.Ufuk Asci

They have to have SUPER role. Just ask him to click on Tools --> Designer. It will tell you the object ID on the top left.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
