Hi all,
A huge doubt.
I wanted to use Jet Reports with NAV 7 Beta. But i am unaware about the configuration Process.
Let me tell you what all i had done.
1. Installed Jet Essentials Setup 12.0.12187.0 (32-bit).
2. Copied Jet License in C:\Program Files (x86)\JetReports. Named lic as fin.jlf.
3. Also copied same license inside C:\Program Files (x86)\JetReports\JetFront\32012.
4. Installed Navision 7.
5. Copied Navision Developer Lic in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\70\RoleTailored Client.
5. Started Excel and moved to Application Settings and checked the path for Jet License and Nav License.
6. But when i moved to Data Source Setting it says you are not licensed to use this data source.
7. As per my knowledge it require C/FRONT which has been discontinued by MS from V 7.
Please let me know
1) Am I following the right steps or not?
2) Is there something else need to be done?
3) How to resolve the issue.

The new version of Jet is being BETA tested for NAV 2013. Due to th fact that there is no C/FRONT as well as newer objects, Jet in its current form cannot be used for NAV 2013. You will have to sign up for the BETA testing group if you want to use it straight away.
Send an email to Jet Reports and ask to be included in the BETA testing process. You will have to have your NAV license refreshed with certain objects that Jet has developed for NAV 2013.
You'll always find the download links to the actual versions in the update tag of the JetReports.Info Blog.
Find the link for
- 32 Bit Office (32 Bit Office diese Installationsversion)
- 64 Bit Office (64 Bit Office diese Installationsversion)
You'll find a lot more Jet Reports stuff than the frequent information of program updates in the JetReports.Info Blog. The sample reports are created without language information. So they should run in all countries. In future we'll plan to populate the blog posts in english as well.
