Default cursor to filter field on list pages

Hi there,
A customer asked us whether it would be possible to default the cursor position to the filter field "Type to filter" when opening any of the list pages. Right now it looks like the cursor goes nowhere.
Could this be changed? I think 80% of the users search for a specific value (order no, item no., customer no.) as soon the list is opened. So I think the request from the customer makes sense.

The user has to press F3 before starting to enter data in QuickFilter or use Alt+F3 to filter to a specific value in the list. In NAV2013 he can also use Ctrl+F to find and position on rows.
