Any other Jet users out there?

I have been working on Jet Reports for the last few weeks, and found the product most useful for analysing the financial results of different companies in a single report based in an Excel spreadsheet.

Jet is clearly a powerful reporting tool, but it is not intuative, and I am finding that writing the excel functions to extract information is both time consuming and frustrating, even for someone with a knowledge of Navision and Excel :-k

Is there anyone else out there using this product? Perhaps we exchange opinions, hints and tips based on our experience with Jet todate :)

    Hello Gavin,

A lot of our clients use Jet and have found it to be incredibly useful. I will speak to our account manager to see if any of them would be available to talk to you.

We also do Jet training courses if it would be of any help.

    I use Jet Reports.

To be honest - you fight Excel and not Jet to get good reports.

I have found i am limited by my lack of experience of Excel - not the Jet side. The Jet side is the easy bit.

Did you know you can combine an Excel function with a Navision field to retrieve Unique values?

Like: give me all periods (weeks, months, years) in which we received a purchase invoice from a vendor?

    Is: =nl(“sheets”,”Purch. Inv. Header”,”=Year(NF(,””Posting Date””))”, .... filters ...)
    Kind regards,
