Hi Experts,
I have installed NAV2013 server which has IIS7 installed on it. I have done all the setups required to run NAV 2013 Web Client. Its working fine when we are accessing NAV web client 2013 through intranet (using IE).

But I have a problem while accessing NAV 2013 webclient over internet (i.e from different network).

Can anyone of you provide necessary steps that needs to followed to solve the above problem.

Thanks,

You need to find out your external ip address first. Then configure your router to forward the traffic to your IIS.

From security perspective I would rather setup VPN and ask the users to connect to VPN first then access the web client.

He just told you the steps. Check if your IIS is available from an external source. If that is not the case you'll have to resolve them following the steps Rashed mentioned.
However if you need a step by step (or better yet click by click) instructions, then you might want to ask a sysadmin, because we don't know the situation you are facing, and second, if a shove in the right direction isen't enough, the volunteers motivation to aid you drops (significantly)
