disbale a menu item based on a particular date

hi all,

is it possibel to disable a menu item based on a particualr period,that is i want to be available to users only particular periods of the year.,if so how?

I think not possible..

The work arounds are..
1. you can use Roles & Permissions to give permissions (if form/page)
2. you can validate the dates which you want in the begining of object else show error message..
ex: OnOpenForm if it is a form

You can use a codeunit for that purpose. You may allow execution of methods upon predefined conditions.
