Adding custom table fields to existing report.

Hello Navers, I'm new to the whole RDLC designer. I added custom fields to the GL entry table and would like to add them to an existing report. The report has what looks like GL Account and GL entry selected as tables. However, the new custom fields are not an listed as available fields in the dataset. Is there a way to refresh the dataset or add these fields to the dataset? Also, is it possible to create a custom data set using query designer or a stored procedure?

    Hi Witty, You'll need to add the fields in the Sections (Classic) area first. Then save your report. Open the report in Design mode again, and then open up Layouts, and you should be able to see the new fields that you added. Good luck!
