Change log

I want to take change log entries to excel and then delete the change log entries daily and automatically.

can i can write the code for that in Application management??
Is there need for NAS required???

    You can write the code in any codeunit or process only report. For scheduling the task to run daily I guess you will need NAS if you dont want to run an extra client to do this for you.

    I can write code but what i need is that it should run automatically everyday.

    Is there a reason you need this daily and automatically?

    I would do it manually and weekly or monthly.

    Because it takes long time if we remove it weekly. and also we dont want to hang up the server in day time .
    My purpose was that It would be automatically be done at night without wasting our time and resource.

    Have you thought about doing it through SQL?
    What's the slow part? Removing the entries or exporting them to Excel?
