Confusion about the Posting,Order,Document & Shipment Date

Hi,
I have a confusion about the Posting Date, Order Date, Document Date And shipment date. Can someone help to me for the use of above mention fields.

Yes I use the help to find the definition of Posting, Order, Document & Shipment Date as :

1) Posting Date : Here you can enter the date on which the sales header should be posted.

2) Order Date : Here you can enter the order date for the sales header.

3) Document Date : This field shows the date on which you create the sales document.

4) Shipment Date: Here you can enter the date you expect to ship the order.

As per above definition here I am creating on example:

Suppose I have to create a sales order on 25/07/2012 , now the document date for this SO is 25/07/12 and I supposed to dispatched the material for this SO against three shipment on dt. 26 to 28 of same month, It means there are three shipment date as 26/07 , 27/07 and 28/07.

Now confusion is this :

What will my Posting Date and Order date as per above example. Or these are fixed for one document or changed with the entry which will post against this document(SO).
