how setup table works and do link?

Hello,

i want to know how setup table works and do link with other table.

suppose i have a Service Status Priority Setup

here i have Service Order Status and priority field.

Service order status

---

>Pending,In Process,Finished,On Hold,To Review,Reviewed
priority

---

>High,Medium High,Medium Low,Low

both of them are option field.

i have Repair Status table and i see this two field is in this table.

how it will works.

are Service Order Status and repair status tables standard tables?

In Service Status Priority Setup table both Service Order Status and Priority fields are editable, so you will use this table to set priority for different service order statuses, where as in repair status table you will just set service order status and it will bring the value in priority field based on your setup in Service Status Priority Setup table.
