Hello Mibuso Community,
i have a Advice and a Question. Our customer have NAV 2009 SP1 with Service Tier and RTC Client. The service Tier Process has a Domain Account added and the Object Listener is switch to this User. The RTC Client works. The Security Modell of the Database is "Default"
If i want to synchronize the Logins with Classic Client or add an New User to Windows Login. I get the follwing Error Message:
15138,"42000",[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Der Datenbankprinzipal besitzt ein Schema-Objekt in der Datenbank und kann nicht gelöscht werden.
SQL:
{CALL [sp_revokedbaccess](?)}
The Solution of this Error Message is to add the Service Tier User to the Windows Login. The following synchronize works correctly with no Error Message. And you can add new User also.
My Question: Is it needed to added the Service Tier User to Windows Login? Did you add the the Domain Account from Service Tier to the Windows Login too?
Thank you for your Answer.

Yes, you need to add the account into NAV. NAV is removing all permissions for users which are not defined in NAV when syncing.0
