Hi Guys,
This is my first post here so go easy
I've been given the responsibility of converting an existing classic report to run under the RTC. I've used the Create Layout Suggestion menu option to create the layout. I've then tweaked the layout to roughly match the classic layout. I've then saved and complied the report. When I run the report to Preview in RTC it looks OK. However, when I send the same report to printer the header section is blank. It prints the detail lines but no header? This is the first report I've been asked to convert, and I'm really at a loss as how to fix this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
As a bit of background, I'm new to NAV and NAV development. However, I've been a Pegasus Opera\Opera2\Opera3 developer for nearly 20 years.
Thanks

But as I said you need to learn how to create RDLC reports, so I suggest you read the following:

I know it is on PartnerSource, but I have given up trying to find, sorry. Maybe somebody who can figure out how to navigate PartnerSource can provide us with that link?

This one is of the VS Layout:

This one is of the printed invoice:

As mentioned, if I send to preview, it prints the header as expected. It's only when it gets sent to printer that the header fails to print?
I'll read the suggested material ASAP but what I can't understand is why it prints fine to preview but not to print?
Cheers
