SQL Error on importing a Navision FOB

Hello

On importing the FOB into the production database, our customer got the error:


"The following SQL Server error or errors occurred when accessing the NAME table: 650,"42000",[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] You can only specify the READPAST lock in the READ COMMITTED or REPEATABLE READ isolation levels. SQL: ALTER TABLE "DATABASENAME"."dbo"."Company$tablename" ADD "NewTableFieldName" TINYINT NOT NULL CONSTRAINT "$ndodefault$138xxxxxxx$xxxxx" DEFAULT 0"

Client version: DynamicsNAV 2009 R2
SQL Server 2008 R2

Similar kind of issue is explained in this article

This article is for NAV 5.0 SP1 and NAV 2009 SP1 but not for 2009 R2.

Anyway, thank you for information

So take this information, call your partner and have them contact Microsoft to see if you can use the SP1 hotfix to address the same issue in R2, and if that is not the case if there is a specific hotfix for R2.
