Empty Item Tracking Entry table

hubgilberthubgilbert Member Posts: 36
We are tracking serial numbers in a Navision database, and noticed that our Serial Number aging and Status Reports (objects 10160/161) aren't working. We then noticed that our Item Tracking Entry table is empty. Item cards are correctly populated with an Item Tracking code with all boxes on the SN tab checked exist "Must Exist". The Item ledger entry table is correctly populating, and items are requiring serial number entry. We are using average costing. Are we missing a setting? What would be the reason this would be empty, and what are the ramifications for not having those entries.

in 3.7 all the serial info is stored for orders journals etc on reservation entry table. Item tracking is just temporary table for serial no.

    Hi,

I am puzzled: The 'Item Tracking Entry' table (6501) does not exist in standard 3.60 or 3.70, but only in 3.10 or earlier. Are you definitely running 3.70 objects, or 3.10 on 3.70 executables? :?:

In 3.60, item tracking was completely re-written and this table was removed. I would ask your NSC if this table is in fact a 'dead' one from an upgrade and get them to look at these reports to see if there are newer versions based on other tables for 3.70.

    Hope this is of help.

We are definitely on 3.7, and this is not an upgrade. We are using an ISV solution, so possibly those objects crept in with that. We'll check to see if those reports (SN aging and status ) are standard in 3.7 Navision.
