3-Tier Architecture Service Priniples Setup

Hi all,

We are installed SQL Server and Navision Server in 2 different machines. We are using NAV 2009 R2. The SQL Server Service Account is Navision Service Account is different. We want to setup a Service Principles(SPN) 3-Tier architecture. Please advice whether we need to setup Service Principle for Navision Service account or SQL Service account or for both accounts.

Have you already read something about SPNs and NAV 2009? There are many articles about this. I recommend to read them first, than ask for specific question. From your question I can see that you do not know how the SPNs works. (both).
