Work Center capacity and Machine Center Capacity

Hi all experts

i have one doubt, as per navision system setup, the work center capcity is total capacity of all machine center capacity.

for e.g. if there is Production department is work group center

if the assembly department and Inspection department is work center.

if there are 5 machines are in the assembly department which are defined in machine centers with each capacity as 1.

In that case the total capacity of assembly department is 5 or any other ?

Please clarify me.

What you are saying will only work when you have marked "Consolidated Calendar "Field on Work center as true.
If you placed a check mark in this field and the work center has two machine centers assigned to it, each working 8 hours, then the total availability for the work center is 16 hours. However, if you did not place a check mark in this field, then the work center has an availability of 8 hours.
