block bins for tranactions

Hi All,

my client has a requirement to block the BIN to "Shipments",Reciepts & for Both", form 7302-bins has column called "Block Movement" where it has the options of "Inbound,Outbound & All" but what ever the option selected system allows to post Item receipts and shipments to the particular bin. how dose this function works?

Hi All

I too have the same issue, we have a functionality to block the movements of the particular bin, when we select block movement all, it should restrict me while selecting that particular bin on sales or purchase record, i made that set up to test, though i set as block movement all, i am able to post the receipt, ship, and invoice, then why this setup is made, which scenario it works.

That functionality is only checked within WMS documents and associated functions. It is not check when processing bins directly from the sales or purchase orders.
