I wanted to see if anyone is using SQL Server Reporting Services with Navision yet and how it is working for them.

I have created to simple Reports in Reporting Services showing Navision Data.
There is an issue on security. :? I do not know yet if I have to rely on Reporting Services or find a way out to integrate security in Navision.
With a simple link in Navision 4.0 you can drive the user to the right Report.

    And :
It is much faster to create reports in Reporting Services.
    You have more format options.
It is more user friendly (SQL RS)
You can export the reports to many formats
It comes free with Ms SQL Server

Reporting Services is what Microsoft started for Reporting.
And they started it from scratch.
So I believe they will support it to the end !
It is the future on Reporting.
    I vote for RS :!:

do you still have the problems of having to re-calculate the flow fields that you do using Crystal or other external reporting tools?

As far as I have seen, yes.
FlowFields are not real SQL Table fields. You have to calulate them if you access directly SQL Database. :!:
SQL has to aggregate these fields on the fly, or you can have Reports created during the night, so not to load SQL activity during mid-day.
I do not know what is going on using C/ODBC, or if you can use it as Datasource for the Reports in RS
    give me some time
