Purchase Inv Packing & Freight Included tax is not calculate

Dear All,

In Purchase Invoice (packing & Forwarding, Freight )item charges have including Ed & sales taxes but is not calculated. Functionally how to structures for the Item charges (packing charges & Freight) to be calculated ED & Taxes (Indian Taxation).

Please give suggestion for this issue asap. ](*,)

Have u selected Structure. Sales tax is properly calculated if u select Tax group code and Tax area code.
Please specify which tax are you trying to calculate.

generally it is defined as charges in structure with sales tax

If u want sales tax to be calculated including charges amount then structure should be:-

Charges should be defined above sales tax in structure i.e (calculation order should 1 for charges and 2 for sales tax). Include base should be true in both the cases.
Base formula for sales tax should be 1 and charge basis should be either Amount or equally.

Example:= Base amount 50 and charges is 50
Sales tax is 12.5 % then as per above scenario Tax amount will be 12.5

Kindly verify the structure
