how to delete special character like this in navasion

hi,Exports:
sort of the coloum will be upseted when i copy contents to excel file from navision.
i found a special character exist at the end of Item Description, like attachment ,the small 1 not show unless i highlight it.
any idea to delete that by pragramming? any advise will appreciate.
look at my Item Description (should be correct):3.5*3.5*0.1 I-M24A inlay

Newer versions of NAV are removing these characters automatically. Was described in some KB article.
