Multiline in word from Navision

Hi !

Well here's my issue: I when an intercation is created, a Word document can be generated on user's demand. This document is filled with field from the interaction created.

Some of those fields are textboxes withe multiline property set to "yes".
But when the Word is opened, the field is diplsayed in one line:
For example:
When creating the interaction:
"Test blabla
blablabl
blblblablabla"

But in the word I have :
"Test blabla blablabl blblblablabla"

When I display the content of this field in a report or a message, the multiline is ok, so I suppose the problem come from the word format.
Does anybody know how to keep multiline format from Navision to Word?

Thanks in advance,
Arkanan

The MailMerge to Word have no knowledge of textbox properties in NAV. I guess you will need to make a table (i.e. a 1x1 table without borders) in your Word template with a fixed width to get word wrapping.

Hello and thanks for your answer.

So there's no native solution. :s

About using a table with fixed width in my word template, I don't think it will work fine because text in this field can be really random. (it can be one long line, one small, several long lines...). And salesmen would like to have One line per line (as far as possible).

Does anybody have other method to workaround?

    Thanks a lot,
    Arkanan
