GRN Posting Issues

Hi Experts,

While Posting GRN the error Message (The Purchase Line Table contain field with a code or text value is too large for the SQL server data type:SQL Type:Var Char(50).


Please give solution for this issues.

    Hi Mahesh,

    Is this a Customization?

    The problem statement suggest that there is a mismatch between two fields (from and to). Please check all the new fields added in purchase line tables.

    This looks like a Field length mismatch problem, compare the fields in Purchase Line, Purch. Rcpt. Line and Purch. Inv. Line tables. These tables must have same length, datatype, etc. for fields with the same Ids.

    Hi Ritesh/Chinmoy,

    The issues is purchases line archive table only Description field length is increased only (Var Char 60)the error is solved and then GRN entry is posted.
