savedboy08savedboy08 Member Posts: 16
Hi Guys,

May i ask for your help regarding this issue:

While importing txt file in the dataport i got "You should enter a number in this field".

The dataport that i was using is the same dataport that i have used to export the text file.

THanks!

Since this is probably a custom dataport, I believe you're better off with consulting the debugger instead of this forum.
If that does not identify the source of the problem, we'll need a lot more information before we can make any usefull suggestions.

This could be because string with double quote in the value. The import process have probem with this and will "shift" all fields after this and thus it is trying to import wrong data into wrong fields.

There can be many reasons of this error. No one can say anything untill they see the dataport & csv file..

    apart from this:
Please make sure you are using right delimiters.
